As the chief executive officer of Wellington Management Company LLP, Jean leads the firm in our mission to drive excellence for clients to positively impact millions of beneficiaries' lives. In pursuit of that mission, she spends significant time meeting with clients globally as well as working to strengthen and support the firm's people and capabilities. She also serves on a variety of internal management committees, including the executive, operating, and compensation committees. In addition, she is one of the firm's three managing partners, who are responsible for governance of the Wellington Management partnership, and she is the portfolio manager of the Vanguard Healthcare Fund.

Throughout her 30 years at the firm, Jean has been a member of Wellington's Global Industry Research Group and previously has had a number of responsibilities including researching the pharmaceutical and biotechnology industries, serving as a health care portfolio manager for a number of long and long/short strategies and leading the Health Care Sector Research Team.

Dr. Albert Bourla is Chairman and CEO of Pfizer. Before becoming CEO, he was COO, overseeing commercial strategy, manufacturing, and global product development. Previously, he was group president of Pfizer Innovative Health, including Consumer Healthcare, Inflammation & Immunology, Internal Medicine, Oncology, Rare Disease and Vaccines business groups. He also created the Patient and Health Impact group, dedicated to increasing patient access, demonstrating the value of Pfizer's medicines, and business model innovation. Prior, he was president of Established Products business.

He is a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine and joined Pfizer in 1993 in the Animal Health division. In 2020, Dr. Bourla was ranked America's top CEO in the pharmaceuticals sector by Institutional Investor magazine. He is on the executive committee of the Partnership for New York City, a trustee of the US Council for International Business, and a director on multiple boards, including Pfizer Inc., the Pfizer Foundation, PhRMA, and Catalyst.

Michael is the head of our Investment Science Group, which is focused on bringing scientific tools and techniques to the art of investing across the investment platform, from idea generation to implementation to investor development. Investment Science includes the Quantitative Investment Group, Global Risk and Analytics, Investment Data Science, Execution Research and Analytics, Global Derivatives, and Investor Development teams. Michael is also an equity portfolio manager, managing the Global Innovation approach on behalf of our clients and drawing on research from the firm’s global industry analysts.

Michael was previously the associate director of Global Industry Research. Before that, he served as a global industry analyst covering the global semiconductor, semiconductor capital equipment, distribution, and component sectors.

Brian is a member of Wellington Management’s Technology Team focused on consumer technology. As a portfolio manager and a global industry analyst, he manages or co-manages various investment vehicles including portfolios focused on technology as well as diversified portfolios. His focus as an investor is on disruption and innovation within technology and across other sectors. His research spans public and private companies and he frequently leads late-stage equity investments in the firm’s dedicated private equity approach. He is also a member of the firm’s Managing Director Advisory Committee.

Wendy is the head of Sustainable Investment, setting the research agenda and strategy for the firm’s sustainable investment practice. As vice chair, she is a senior member of the firm’s management team and works with the CEO on strategic initiatives and external affairs of the organization.

Wendy serves as chair of the Strategic Relationship Advisory Committee and the Wellington Management Australia Board, vice chair of the Compensation Committee, and a member of the firm’s Investment Stewardship Committee. She is also a director on the board of the United Nations-supported Principles for Responsible Investment and serves on the advisory group of the Net Zero Asset Managers initiative.

Dáire leads Wellington Management’s Next Generation Thematic platform. Based in Singapore, he and his team conduct research and manage portfolios focused on long-term structural themes related to sustainable economic development. He is the co-portfolio manager of Wellington’s Emerging Market Development and Next Generation Global Equity strategies. He is also the author of research papers on sustainable economic development, thematic portfolio construction, and alternative approaches to investing in emerging markets, among others.

Dáire is a member of the WM Singapore Management Committee and the WM Japan Board.

Greg manages the firm’s private company investment activity in companies developing climate solutions, working closely with portfolio managers, global industry analysts, and other global research resources within the firm to identify and pursue investments. As the private climate effort continues to grow, he will help build the team, develop investment talent, and further integrate Wellington’s research capabilities into this emerging business. Greg holds a bachelor of business administration from George Washington University. Additionally, he holds the Chartered Financial Analyst designation. He also serves on the board of non-profit, Hudson River Park Friends.

Sean Petersen is a sector lead focused on enterprise and industrial in private climate. He will focus on managing the firm’s private company investment activity in companies developing climate solutions within enterprise and industrial, working closely with portfolio managers, global industry analysts, and other global research resources within the firm to identify and pursue investments. As the private climate effort continues to grow, he will help build the team, develop investment talent, and further integrate Wellington’s research capabilities into this emerging business.

Kim Stanley Robinson is an American science fiction writer. He is the author of more than twenty books, including the international bestselling Mars trilogy, and more recently New York 2140, Aurora, Shaman, Green Earth, and 2312, which was a New York Times bestseller nominated for all seven of the major science fiction awards—a first for any book. He was sent to the Antarctic by the U.S. National Science Foundation’s Antarctic Artists and Writers’ Program in 1995, and returned in their Antarctic media program in 2016. In 2008 he was named a “Hero of the Environment” by Time magazine, and he works with the Sierra Nevada Research Institute, the Clarion Writers’ Workshop, and UC San Diego’s Arthur C. As director of Climate Research on the Sustainable Investment Team, Chris focuses on investment solutions that share an enduring nature and require critical strategic thinking. He spearheads a collaborative initiative between Wellington Management and Woodwell Climate Research Center (WCRC) to integrate climate science and asset management. This alliance, launched in 2018, is focused on creating investor tools and insights to better understand how and where climate change may impact global capital markets.

As a multi-asset strategist, Cara serves as a trusted partner to the firm’s clients. She researches investment policy and portfolio construction topics, advises clients on opportunities and risks in their portfolios, and invests as the portfolio manager for multi-manager solutions designed to solve specific client challenges. She is also a member of several internal management committees.
